With the PatCitation Online-Survey you have the choice to limit or extend the information you need. The citation survey in the 1st degree reports (click for example report) those citations with a direct relationship to the specified patent number. 2nd degree citation surveys (click for example report) take the reported information a step further, providing you with an overview which includes extended citation relationships. All citations and cited patents come with bibliographic information to ease further research. Additionally, research surveys can be further enhanced, for example to include full text searches.

 How extensive is PatCitation's database?

PatCitation's data pool comprises of information from the most technologically advanced countries (US, JP, DE, AU, GB, FR, etc.) as well as international patent agencies (EPA, WIPO). Additionally, we offer a PatCitation Monitoring-Service. At reasonable rates, this service continually monitors your specified patent numbers at regular intervals and informs you via email when new citatory patents are published.
